太王為父，王季孝友。文武聖明，仁政興起。旦隆四國，載福綏厚。
Great King was the father; King Ji was filial and brotherly. Wen and Wu were sagely and wise; benevolent rule arose. Dan brought the four states to greatness, bearing blessings rich and deep.

澤中有火，革之象也。太王為父，王季孝友，文武聖明，仁政興起。旦隆四國，載福綏厚。此述周室四代聖系：太王古公亶父遷岐奠基，王季以孝友承繼，文王、武王以聖明仁德開國，周公旦鎮撫四方，福澤深厚。革非暴烈之變，乃數代積德漸進之業。從革至需（雲上於天），變革最深遠者非一朝之功，如雲之蓄水，經數世涵養方降甘霖，潤澤天下。
