六四 鴻漸于木。或得其桷。无咎。
Six in the fourth place means: The wild goose goes gradually draws near the tree. Perhaps it will find a flat branch. No blame.

旦種菽荳，暮成藿羹。心之所願，志快意愜。
At dawn plant beans and pulses; by evening, a stew of greens. What the heart desires, the will attains in full contentment.

山上有木，漸之象，樹木緩生於山巔。然詩中所描繪卻是旦種暮成、心願即遂之速景。菽豆朝種夕收為藿羹，志快意愜，一念即成。此將漸進壓縮為瞬間，如願以償之喜。從漸至乾（天行健），循序漸進之功一旦圓滿，即轉化為自強不息之創造力。山上之木終入純天之境，蓄養既久，一朝迸發，所得非點滴而是滿盈之福。
