注释
山上有木為漸，兼山為艮。虎豹熊羆遊戲山谷，仁賢君子得其所欲。猛獸於山谷中自在遊戲，不獵不逃，安居其所。從漸至艮（思不出其位），漸進之風在此完全靜止，雙山對峙，萬物各安其位。漸之步步前行至此發現：終點不在更遠處，而在恰好停下之處。虎豹之遊非奔逃而是閒適，因山谷即其天然之所。漸功圓滿之象非登頂而是歸位：仁者得其所欲，非因求取，乃因已在其所應在之地。
