注释
澤上有雷為歸妹，澤上有地為臨。原詩曰「伯夷叔齊，貞廉之師。以德防患，憂禍不存。」伯夷叔齊義不食周粟，相偕餓死於首陽山上，為忠義節操之極致。從歸妹至臨（澤上有地），大地寬厚以臨澤上。臨卦「教思無窮，容保民無疆」，以德行感化而非以力脅迫。伯夷叔齊之貞廉正是臨之最高境界：不求人從而人自仰之，以德防患則不待禍至而禍自遠離。歸妹之卑位經此轉化，從依附他人成為德行垂範之師。
