上九 巽在牀下。喪其資斧。貞凶。
Nine at the top means: Penetration under the bed. He loses his property and his ax. Perseverance brings misfortune.

注释
隨風巽，化為雷在天上之大壯。乘車七百，以明文德——七百乘車馬浩蕩而出，非為征伐而為彰顯文治之德。踐土葵丘，齊晉受福——踐土之盟（前六三二年晉文公城濮戰後大會諸侯）與葵丘之盟（前六五一年齊桓公會盟諸侯），春秋霸主以武力為後盾、以禮儀為形式之外交盛典。齊晉兩霸各於其時受天命之福。從巽至大壯（雷在天上，君子以非禮弗履），巽風之教化凝為大壯之威。七百乘之武力服膺於禮，非暴力之展示，乃以儀典使權力正當化，壯而不逾矩。
