Nine in the fifth place means: Perseverance brings good fortune. Remorse vanishes. Nothing that does not further. No beginning, but an end. Before the change, three days. After the change, three days. Good fortune.

焦氏易林
宮門愁鳴，臣圍其君，不得東西。
The palace gate cries in grief; ministers surround their lord—he cannot go east or west.

注释
隨風巽，化為兼山之艮。宮門愁鳴——宮門發出悲鳴之聲。臣圍其君——群臣將國君團團圍住。不得東西——國君不能往東往西，動彈不得。此為君主被臣下所困之象——非外敵圍城，乃身邊之人架空主上。宮門之哀鳴暗示宮殿本身亦為內中之事悲嘆。從巽至艮（兼山艮，君子以思不出其位），雙山相對而止。然此處之「止」非沉思之靜定，乃被包圍之癱瘓。本當號令天下之君反成自己所擢拔之臣的囚徒。止而不得動，艮之靜化為囚之困。
