注释
麗澤為兌，歡悅之象。原詩言子鉏執麟、《春秋》作元、聖人將終、尼父悲心。前481年魯哀公十四年，叔孫氏御者獲麟於大澤。麟為聖世之瑞，出於亂世則為末路之兆。孔子識之而泣：「吾道窮矣！」從兌至坤（地勢坤），湖面之歡悅消散，唯餘大地默然承載。聖人之悲亦須有所歸處，坤之厚德正為此而設。
