注释

山上有雷,小過之任。衘命辱使——奉命出使卻力不從心,有辱使命。不堪厥事——才具不足以勝任所託。中墜落去——途中跌落失足,任務半途而廢。更為負載——非但未成使命,反添負擔。小吏受命過其分,力不能支而反致禍。從小過至履(上天下澤),山上之雷化為天澤分際之象。使者之敗乃踐履之失——逾越自身能力之邊界,而無辨識邊界之智。履虎尾而不知避,終為所噬。
