注释
水在火上，既濟之序。祭仲子突——祭仲（鄭大夫）擁立子突（鄭厲公）。要門逐忽——封堵門戶驅逐鄭昭公（忽）。禍起子商——禍端源於子商之謀。弟伐其兄——弟奪兄之位。鄭久不昌——鄭國長期不振。此即鄭國繼承之亂：前701年祭仲受宋國脅迫，廢昭公忽而立子突為厲公，鄭國由此動盪數十年。從既濟至鼎（木上有火），完成之序化為火在風上之鼎——鼎新革故之器。然此處鼎之轉化力被扭曲：非精煉治理，而是將正統熔鑄為篡位，國之滋養化為毒液。
