注释
火在水上——此處火從天象化為實火。天火卒起，驟然爆發，先燒旁里，再延吾家，空盡己財——火災蔓延無可控制，鄰里先遭而自家難免。漢代以「天火」指雷擊、自燃或不明之災火。從未濟至履（上天下澤），火水之失序化為天高澤下之戒慎。履為踩虎尾之卦，辨上下以定民志。此詩正示不慎之果：看似遠在他處之火焰，轉瞬越界而來，吞噬一切。危險從不安全地待在「那邊」——它永遠正在逼近。
