三狐群哭，自悲孤獨。野无所遊，死於丘室。
Three foxes cry together; mourning their own solitude. No wilderness to roam; they die within the barren den.

注释
火在水上，未濟之衰。三狐群哭——三隻狐狸聚而哀號。自悲孤獨——哀嘆自身之孤絕。野无所遊——曠野中已無可去之處。死於丘室——終老死於洞穴之中。狐在易林中多為狡黠而脆弱之象——依賴群體卻易遭疑忌流放。三狐齊哭更顯悲涼：連彼此之陪伴都無法拯救。從未濟至剝（山附於地），火水之散化為山之剝蝕。狐在巢穴中漸亡，恰如山之緩慢崩塌——由內而外，無聲無息。非突然之災，乃不可逆轉之衰退——共同體已失去存在之理由。
