Amid fire's heat the summer fades; millet and grain are the food. Merchants do not come; the market stands vacant and bare.

注释
火在水上，未濟之盡。火中暑退——炎夏之熱已消。禾黍其食——唯餘穀物可食。商人不至——商旅不來。市空无有——市場空蕩，貨物全無。食物存而貿易止，豐足而不流通——經濟停滯之象。從未濟至復（雷在地中），火水之衰化為雷藏地中之一陽。空市非永恆之死，乃谷底之轉折。復之先王至日閉關、商旅不行——刻意停止一切交流，讓新生之種子在靜寂中萌發。此處之空不是終結，是復甦前最深之沉默。
