地中有水，師之象。清人高子——典出《詩經·鄭風·清人》：鄭文公厭惡高克，遣其率清邑之師戍守黃河邊防以御狄人，卻不召回。久屯外野——長期屯駐荒野，士卒閒散。道遙不歸，思我慈母——歸途遙遙，思念母親。從師至睽（上火下澤），火與澤相背而行。戍卒之境恰如此象：將與君、兵與家鄉被致命地隔離，各望不同方向而不得相從。
