注释
風行天上，化為水洊至之坎。以茅縮酒行祭，靈巫拜禱——禮數俱全，然神怒不許。瘁愁憂苦。從小畜至坎，柔蓄墮入重險之淵。祭祀之失敗至為慘烈：縮茅濾酒、巫祝祈禱，形式皆備而神靈拒受。坎卦「維心亨」，要在內心之誠信而非儀式之機械。精誠不達時，再多禮節亦無法跨越人之所求與天之沉默間的鴻溝。常德行、習教事——誠在內而非在形。
