風行天上，化為風行水上之渙。鶉尾奔奔——出《詩經·鄘風·鶉之奔奔》，以鶉鵲成雙之忠貞諷刺人倫失常之君主，鳥尚有偶而人反無義。火中成軍，軍陣混亂不整。虢叔出奔離國，下民遂失其君主。從小畜至渙，詩寫道德失序如何瓦解政治之凝聚。渙卦風行水上，散其所聚：邦國分裂，君主逃亡，黎民無所依主。鶉鳥以忠貞著稱——連禽鳥尚守其偶，此君卻棄國而走，人不如鳥。渙之散非天災所致，實為人禍。
