注释
上天下澤，然最敏之目亦有其限。遠視千里而不見黑子。離婁之明——百步之外可察秋毫之末——亦無益於光本身。典出《孟子·離婁上》：「離婁之明，公輸子之巧，不以規矩，不能成方圓。」至高之能力無適當框架則無用。從履至小過，山上有雷：小鳥飛太高而迷途——過其所宜。詩警示：超凡之洞察若無正法相輔，則照不見任何東西。行過乎恭，小過之道在於量力而為。
