左眇右盲，視闇不明；下民多孽，君失其常。
Left eye dim, right eye blind; vision clouded, sight unclear. Below, the common people breed trouble; the lord has lost his constant way.

注释
左眇右盲，視闇不明——左目昏、右目盲，明暗難辨。下民多孽，君失其常——百姓多犯，君主失道。此詩從上而下診斷政治之盲：君不明則民不治。眇與盲非全暗，乃視覺扭曲、判斷失準。從大有至益（風雷），天火化為風雷之益——見善則遷、有過則改。此詩恰為益之暗面：君之目壞，改善機制隨之失靈。非趨善而為全體墮落。益所開出之方——見善則遷——前提是有能見之目。大有之明若喪失識別力，益之道即無從施展。
