山附於地為剝,雲上於天為需。上下皆邪,正道不行,忠直之夫被疏離。歡心隔塞,君子離居——此為朝政腐敗、上下皆曲之世。「邪」字重出,強調道德扭曲之普遍,致志同者不能相聚。從剝至需,崩壞之局化為懸而未決之等待:雲在天上而雨未降,險已在前而未至。君子之離居即是一種等待——不可躁進,須以飲食宴樂之心安處當下,待天時之轉變。需者,須也,信而有光。
