雷在地中，復卦初動。鷂鴟娶婦——猛禽之婚，深目窈身，形容異樣。折腰不媚，與伯相背——新婦不肯屈從，與夫主相悖。此婚姻非和合之象，乃本性相戾之配。鷹隼之妻以傲岸為姿，然此傲岸究為剛正抑為乖張，詩意未明。從復至蒙，山下出泉，蒙昧初開。此變示人：看似頑抗者，或只是未經教化之稚嫩。泉水初出而未知所向，教者須以果行育德相引，非強壓所能化解。
