被綉夜行，不見文章，安坐玉堂，乃無咎殃，長子帥師，得其正常。
Wearing brocade, walking by night; the fine patterns go unseen. Sitting calmly in the jade hall; thus there is no blame or misfortune. The eldest son leads the army; he achieves proper order.

注释
明兩作離，火入水洊至之坎。被綉夜行，不見文章——衣錦夜行，華美無人見。安坐玉堂，乃無咎殃——不外出炫耀，靜居堂中則無禍。長子帥師，得其正常——長子統兵合道，秩序得正。「衣錦夜行」為楚項羽典型之歎，然此詩反其意：不求人見，安於晦暗，反得平安。從離至坎，水洊至，常德行習教事：火之華麗入水之重險，唯有隱其光華、守其常道，方能安然渡險。長子帥師，以明而不顯之德行軍，此為離火於坎水中之正用。
