注释
雷風恆，協調之象。三嫗治民——三位老婦治理百姓。不勝其任——不堪其任。兩馬爭車——兩匹馬爭拉一輛車。敗壞室家——家室因此敗壞。恆之美在於持久的配合，然此詩寫配合之失敗。三嫗力不從心，兩馬方向相悖，越持久則越混亂。從恆至既濟（水在火上），既濟者萬事已成，然成後即衰。水火雖各居其位，然若治事者不稱其任，則既濟之局瞬間瓦解。恆之持久遇既濟之脆弱，維持的成本超過維持的能力，終致敗壞。
