九三 係遯。有疾厲。畜臣妾吉。

注释
天下有山，遯之象。安坐至暮——安坐到日暮。禍災不到——禍災不臨。利詰奸妖——利於追問奸邪。罪人弗赦——罪人不可赦。靜坐避禍與嚴懲奸邪並行。從遯至損（山下有澤），退避之山化為損之約束——懲忿窒欲。退避者以靜待暮避免災禍，同時不放過作惡者。損者減己之多餘以益正道。退避非姑息，而是以靜制動之際對奸邪施以追究。退而有守，守中有義。
