心狂老悖，視聽聳類。政令无常，下民多孽。
The mind is wild, the elder perverse; sight and hearing are confused. Decrees and commands are without constancy; the people below breed manifold sins.

風自火出，家人之教本應恆定。然心狂老悖——心已癲狂，年邁而悖亂。視聽聳類——所見所聞皆失真扭曲。政令無常——政策朝令夕改，毫無定準。下民多孽——百姓因之多行不軌。此為一幅統治者精神衰退而毒化治理之畫像：家長不能明辨，則一切指令皆成任性之舉。從家人至咸，山上有澤，以虛受人。感應之道在心能如實接受印象；此癲狂之主所接收者盡為扭曲，其反覆無常之回應向外擴散，化為混亂而非和諧。
