In the season of Jianglou, the king's chariot tours the realm. Broadly bestowing aid and grace, the ten thousand states all rejoice.

注释
地中生木，升之象。辰以降婁，王駕巡狩——星次降婁之際，王駕啟程巡行天下。廣佑施惠，萬國咸喜——廣施恩澤護佑萬民，天下諸國無不歡喜。巡狩為天子省方觀民之古制——天子親至四方，察民疾苦，頒布恩澤，使王德遍及遠近。上火下澤為睽（君子以同而異），異中求同之象：火炎上而水潤下，方向相反而可互補。從升至睽，上升之勢遇差異而化之為互補——巡幸不同之邦國，非消弭其差異而因其各異之情況施恩。升之道行於天下，澤被萬方而各得其所。
