注释
兼山為艮，卵與石鬬——以卵擊石，麋碎無疑。動而有悔，出不得時。以卵擊石為最古老之失算意象，見於《墨子》《荀子》。從艮至損（山下有澤），山化為山上澤下之象。損卦教人懲忿窒欲——克制衝動，削減過度。此詩為其反面教材：卵之魯莽挑戰是不受節制之衝動——拒絕接受限制。山之靜止本應教其知分寸，卵偏不聽，結果是自取滅亡。
