山上有火，旅人去安就危。離穩妥之地而墜陷井池，摔碎玉瑀——既失財寶，亦毀德操之象。玉瑀為貴重佩飾，亦為品格之徵，碎則不可復。此為輕率出行之嚴厲警告：旅人自棄安穩而入險地，所失者乃至為珍貴之物。從旅至剝（山附於地），山體剝落，堅固之物逐層瓦解。玉碎之象與剝卦之蝕正相呼應：完整者被層層剝盡，終至赤地無存。
