天與水違行,訟。然白雉群雊——白雉群鳴,慕德朝貢。白雉為古代最尊貴之貢品,象徵遠方之人自願歸服於道德權威。「湛露之恩」——出《詩經·小雅·湛露》,天子宴諸侯之禮。使我得懽——恩澤及於萬方而眾皆歡悅。從訟至既濟,水在火上,萬物各得其位。既濟為秩序之成就、任務之完成。詩體現此圓成:紛爭化為一個連野生之物亦歸附德行之世界,王宴在和諧中進行。
