山上有雷，小過之婚。執斧破薪——取斧劈柴，出《詩經·伐柯》：「伐柯伐柯，其則不遠」——婚姻依循成法。使媒求婦——遣媒人上門求親。和合二姓——兩姓聯姻和諧。親迎斯須——新郎親迎，婚禮即刻完成。色比毛嬙——新婦之美比擬越國美人毛嬙。姑翁悅喜——公婆歡喜滿意。從小過至益（風雷益），山上之雷化為風雷並行之益——相互增長、彼此助益。婚姻非僅家事，乃生長之聯合：兩股力量相互激發，家庭成為益之引擎。
