耕石山顛，費種家貧。無聊處作，苗髮不生。
Plowing stony ground on a mountaintop; wasting seed, the household grows poor. Laboring without purpose; the sprouts will not grow.

注释
地上有水，比也，本潤禾稼。然耕石山顛——於山頂石地上耕作。費種家貧——種子白費，家益窮困。無聊處作，苗髮不生——無望之中勉強為之，苗終不出。此象顛覆農耕之根本契約：土當受種而回報收穫，石則一無所歸。從比至解（雷雨作），雷雨交加本為釋放與紓解。然詩中無此解脫——唯耕石之頑固徒勞。卦變暗示：解脫須先捨棄不可挽救之物，須自荒山而下，解之甘霖方能奏效。
