地上有水，比也，然水流盡而倉廩空虛。五銑鐵頤——五枚小錢僅購得鐵頜之物，不值幾何。倉庫空虛，賈市無盈——糧倉見底，商賈無利可圖。與利為仇——利益反成仇敵。從比至夬（澤上於天），澤溢天上，本為果斷解決積滯之象。然詩示相反之困境：非盈溢而為枯竭。夬之決斷旨在打破僵局，然府庫已空，則無可突破之物。聯盟而無資源，終為空殼。
