Nine in the fifth place means: Standstill is giving way. Good fortune for the great man. "What if it should fail, what if it should fail?" In this way he ties it to a cluster of mulberry shoots.

上九 傾否。先否後喜。

注释
天地不交之否，伊尹致仕——伊尹辭官離朝，去桀耕野——離開夏桀而歸田。執順以傳——秉持正道以教化，反和無咎——復歸和順而無過。伊尹助商湯建國之前，曾事夏桀。識天命已移而去桀就湯，非棄職乃順天。退耕於野並非逃避，乃重新定位——於德可扎根之處播種。從否至解（雷雨作），否之凝結化為雷雨之釋放。解卦「赦過宥罪」——寬恕解縛。伊尹離暴政而歸田野，正是解之精義：義人抽身於腐敗，結自解而道自通。
