Halting the cart to pour a libation, a violent wind suddenly rises; scattering the sacred vessels, blowing offerings into the grass. Yet the bright spirits bestow fortune -- the road holds no harm from brigands.

雷出地奮，車駐路旁而醊酒祭祀。忽然疾風暴起，祭器翻覆，飛揚於草間——禮儀遭風暴打斷。然詩境一轉：明神降祿，道無害寇——神靈嘉佑，前路無盜。祭祀雖受擾亂而誠心不減，天佑其行。從豫至大畜（天在山中），大畜蓄德之象：君子多識前言往行以畜其德。風暴試煉祭禮卻不能消其誠意，積累之德行終換來神明之庇護。表面之亂不損內在之蓄，此即大畜之理。
