Gazing for my uncle north of the hills, the ridge blocks my sight; unable to see what was won -- it leaves me troubled and perplexed.

注释
澤上有地，臨之凝望。望叔山北——向山之北方遠望某人；陵隔我目——山陵阻隔了我的視線。不見所得——看不見所期盼之物；使我憂惑——令我憂慮困惑。艮之重山築成凝視者與所望之物間的不可逾越之壁。目力竭盡而無法穿透石壁。從臨至艮（兼山），湖之開闊水面凝固為山之靜止——然此靜非安寧而是挫折。本應引人觀照之山反阻斷了思念。目不能及者，心不能釋。此處之靜非自主之禪定，乃被迫之分離——唯一之運動是焦慮在內心翻攪。
