風行地上，觀人失時而逐非所當逐。過時不行——當行之時已過——妄逐王公——卻去攀附貴胄。老女失度，不安其居——年長之女失其分寸，居處不寧。詩將時機之失與身份之僭並列：錯過適當行動之時，復以攀援非分者加重其過。上火下澤，睽之象，火炎上而澤潤下，相見而相離。從觀至睽，觀者所見為不可調和之背離：追者與被追者方向相反，老女之躁動唯使離心更甚。
