山下有火,賁以失敗之義行作結。免冠進賢——脫下冠冕以推薦賢者。步出朝門——走出朝廷之門。此為謙退之姿:讓位於更賢之人。然儀體不正——儀態體制不端正。賊孽為患——逆賊奸黨反成禍患。本應高尚之讓賢因執行之疏失而被出賣,權力交接之門為顛覆者洞開。從賁至未濟,火在水上:山之火化為火在水上。未濟為永恆之將成未成——萬事具備而無一各安其位。進賢者之不當禮儀正現此象:意圖正確,形式有失,亂象隨之。
