明兩作離，火明入雲雷屯之中。坐車乘軒，據國子民——堂堂正正乘大夫之車，掌一國之政、治一邦之民。虞叔受命而和合六親。據《左傳·桓公十年》載，虞叔嘗因玉之故攻虞公而取國。然詩以正面描述其據國受命，調和六親，化亂局為治世。從離至屯，雲雷初動，君子以經綸：火之明照穿透雲雷之混沌，於艱難草創之際把握時機。以明德安定人心、聚合宗族，方能於紛亂中建立新的秩序。
