注释
明兩作離，火入山下有澤之損。南山大木，文身其目——南山巨木，紋理如目。制命出令——發號施令。東里田畝——經營東方田畝。尊主安居，鄭國無患——國君安定，鄭國太平。可解作子產治鄭之事：整頓田畝、鑄刑書、以明法治國。從離至損，山下有澤，懲忿窒欲：損之道在減損多餘以充實根本。子產之治正是損之典範——去繁就簡，裁抑豪強，使鄭國在晉楚之間安然自立。火之明照入損之節制，精確剪裁，方得安寧。
