The younger welcomes the elder brother; meeting his lord in the sunlight. The gentleman and Lady Ji; sitting together, playing the reed organ.

注释
山上有澤，感通之喜。叔迎伯兄——弟出迎兄。遇卷在陽——兄弟相會於陽光之中。君子季姬——君子與季姬。並坐鼓簧——同坐而鳴笙簧。笙簧在《詩經》中為夫婦和樂之器。滿篇溫暖：兄弟重逢、夫妻合奏、陽光普照。從咸至震（洊雷），感應化為震動之象。震為雷上加雷——驚而後喜，恐懼修省。此處之震為重逢之激動：雷聲打破分離之沉悶，以音樂填滿重聚之時光。感通化為震動，靜中之情一觸即發。
