注释
兼山為艮，秦兵爭強——秦以武力稱霸，然失其貞良之士，敗於郩鄉。窮兵黷武，棄忠良而逐功利，終遭挫敗。從艮至益（風雷益），山化為風雷相益之象。益教人見善則遷、有過則改。詩暗示秦拒此教訓：不以自省增德，而以征伐增欲，敗績為必然之反噬。山本靜而可自省，秦卻不止而不省，貞良既失，山之根基已空。
