Nine in the third place means: The Illustrious Ancestor Disciplines the Devil's Country. After three years he conquers it. Inferior people must not be employed.

Six in the fourth place means: The finest clothes turn to rags. Be careful all day long.

水流趍下，欲至東海。求我所有，買魴與鯉。
Merchant boats ride the wind through the gorge mouth; sails round as the moon reflect on green water. Along the shore, a thousand fishing lanterns shine — baskets brim with fish and shrimp, laughter is thick.

注释
水在火上，既濟之象。此條為改寫，據原詩：「水流趍下，欲至東海。」——水順勢而下，志在東海，不迴不滯。「求我所有，買魴與鯉。」——持手中所有之資赴市購魚，以所有換所需，各取其利。水之向海，商之逐利，皆順勢而行，不強不迫，從容自如。從既濟至隨（澤中有雷），完成之序化為雷伏澤中之隨順。隨之智在知時而從——既濟之成不抗其勢，順流而至應往之處。無為而成，水到渠成，正合隨之「嚮晦入宴息」——天黑便安歇，不逆天時。
