上六 大君有命。開國承家。小人勿用。

地中有水，師之象，眾聚而待命。一簧兩舌，佞言諂語，讒惑之言如毒入骨。三人成市造謠，即《戰國策》所載曾母投杼之典：三人告曾母「曾參殺人」，兩聞不信，三聞則投杼而走。至親之信亦不堪流言之蝕。從師至乾，軍令之威本應通達天行自強之道，然甜言蜜語腐蝕信任，則統御之力瓦解。師之根本在信，信崩則眾散。
