地上有水，比也，本為聚合。然此詩寫不合之合，糾纏不解。挒絜累累，締結難解——繩結纏繞重重，無從解開。嫫母衒嫁——嫫母為黃帝之醜妃，於古典中代表內德勝於外貌，然此處聚焦其自薦求嫁，媒人不肯坐下議婚，反自取其辱。從比至大有（火在天上），矛盾加劇——大有之象為至盛之豐，然詩中唯見糾纏困窘。親附之道若強人所難，則潛在之豐盈反化為自招之禍。
