注释
風行天上之小畜，變為坤之至柔至順。子鉏商於大野澤獵獲麒麟，此即魯哀公十四年（前481年）「西狩獲麟」之典。孔子（尼父）識而泣曰：「吾道窮矣！」麟為聖世之瑞獸，唯明君在位而現，今出於衰亂之世，《春秋》遂絕筆。陰道將終，禮樂崩壞，一切趨於寂滅。從小畜至坤，天之蓄養化為地之沉寂，非新生之始，乃終結之象。麒麟被執，最後一絲天人和諧歸於莽莽大地，不復可追。
