厭浥晨夜，道多湛露。沾我襦袴，重難以步。
Damp and dripping through the night; the road is thick with heavy dew. It soaks my jacket and trousers; weighted down, I can barely walk.

注释
火在水上，未濟之累。厭浥晨夜——朝暮皆濕。道多湛露——路上露水沉重。沾我襦袴——濡濕衣褲。重難以步——沉重得難以行走。《詩經·小雅·湛露》以露為天子宴饗之恩，此處反用——露非滋潤而為負累，本應養人之物反成壓迫。從未濟至損（山下有澤），火水之重化為山高澤低之減損。損為懲忿窒欲之卦——做減法之學問。衣已濕透，每一步都更沉——若不減負就必須停步。損之道在此：過多之恩澤亦為害，知減方能行。
