注释
山上有木為漸，澤滅木為大過。鷹鸇獵食，雉兔困極。逃頭見尾，為害所賊。猛禽搜獵，獵物走投無路，藏頭則露尾，無所遁逃。從漸至大過（獨立不懼、遁世無悶），漸長之木被澤水淹沒，棟梁不堪重壓。漸進之小者在此遭遇壓倒性之大力。雉兔之窘如大過之象：結構過載則崩潰無可避免。漸之耐心在絕對力量面前化為徒勞，小者終不能避大者之追獵。
