六五 貞吉无悔。君子之光。有孚吉。

日月並居，常暗匪明。高山崩顛，丘陵為溪。
Sun and moon dwell together; always dim, never bright. High mountains collapse at their peaks; hills and ridges become valleys.

火在水上，未濟失序，而今天地之序亦傾覆。日月並居——二曜同在卻常暗匪明，不輪替而相消。高山崩顛——巍峨者崩塌。丘陵為溪——隆起者化為低窪。宇宙秩序全面逆轉：光明不明，高下易位。從未濟至觀（風行地上），火水之亂化為風行地上之省察。觀為先王省方觀民設教之卦——然山已成谷，何以觀之？此乃觀之暗面——先見廢墟之全貌，方能談重建。不識崩壞之深，則觀之設教無從著力。
